Farah: What do you do – professionally and for fun?

Tom: I work for the sports TV channel ESPN and for fun, I enjoy going to the football, pubs, reading, writing, food and music…

Farah: Who are your style icons and why?

Tom: Not really sure about this. I like classic labels like Fred Perry, Ralph Lauren, Acquascutum, Barbour and Levi’s jeans.  I suppose slightly mod-ish but I just buy things when I see what I like.

Farah: What is your favourite type of clothing? What would you never been seen without?

Tom: My favourite item of clothing is my Acquascutum crombie. I wear my Chelsea boots a lot.

Farah: When, where and how did you first hear about Farah?

Tom: Browsing in Urban Outfitters, perhaps a couple of years ago.

Farah: What is your favourite piece from your outfit you were shot in? And why?

Tom: The jacket, as the other clothing was a little baggier than what I’d usually wear.

Farah: Favourite all time album or band?

Tom: The Stooges – Raw Power possibly

Farah: What event are you most looking forward to this year?

Tom: Euro 2012 maybe

Farah: Run us through a perfect night out for you.

Tom: Going out for a good meal and being surrounded by my best friends from home and from London in pubs where we can hear each other speak.  Definitely prefer a lock-in to a club.

Charlie: Charlie Matthews

Farah: Where are you from?

Charlie: I’m originally from a little countryside village in Gloucestershire, but found the rural way of living a little out of touch for my journalism cravings and aspirations. So over a year ago, I moved to the untrendy area of the East End, and have loved it ever since (minus the occasional muggings!).

Farah: What do you do – professionally and for fun?

Charlie:   I started off as a blogger, using it as a way to constantly evolve my online CV. A few photos down the lookbook line, I worked for Harper’s Bazaar and Men’s Health, before getting concrete freelancing work for Cosmopolitan which has been great. In my free time, I also like to watch Buffy The Vampire Slayer, which I’m hoping can become a fulltime job when I retire.

Farah: Who are your style icons and why?

Charlie: I’m usually more attracted to unknown and unaware style walkers that pass me by, rather than specific A-list faces. Anyone with a mix of beach style grunge with goth ticks my aesthetics!

Farah: What is your favourite type of clothing? What would you never been seen without?

Charlie: I could happily tattoo my black wax trousers to my legs. I’m also an addict when it comes to materials such as mesh, sheer and chiffon; textures intended for women that I like to incorporate into a masculine stance. My current obsession is patent shoes though!

Farah: When, where and how did you first hear about Farah?

Charlie: I had my first Farah shirt given to me by my father, and since then have always had a soft spot for the funky western vibe. They fit my East End environment perfectly.

Farah: What is your favourite piece from your outfit you were shot in? And why?

Charlie: I loved the rusty pink shirt; it’s a colour I don’t usually adopt, but I was really digging the quirky and grunged up beach vibe.

Farah: Favourite all time album or band?

Charlie: My music taste changes on a daily basis, but Fever Ray will always hypnotise my heart. And Rihanna fuels my guilty pleasure side.

Farah: What event are you most looking forward to this year?

Charlie: Beirut at Field Day Festival should be bliss, and I’ll probably go to Wireless if I can save up enough pennies.

Farah: Run us through a perfect night out for you.

Charlie: Drinking red wine from the corner shop at my flat, listening to Rihanna and taking regretful photos with my flatmate, then hitting Shoreditch and falling asleep on the night bus with a classy takeaway box on our laps.

Farah: What is your name?

Ray: Ray Noir
Moe: Moe!

Farah: Where are you from?

Ray: Oslo, Norway. I used to live in Paris as well.
Moe: East London.

Farah: What do you do – professionally and for fun?

Ray: I work in retail for Marc by Marc Jacobs. For fun, I like to play music; sometimes I play at various clubs. It used to be more before than now.
Moe: I’m a student and I also work part time.

Farah: Who are your style icons and why?

Ray: The one who has been a big inspiration since I was young and still is, is Marilyn Manson. But I get inspired by a lot, friends, music, etc.
Moe: Prince! He always had the best style. Very cool.

Farah: What is your favourite type of clothing? What would you never been seen without?

Ray: I love a simple black skinny jean, a black worn out and oversized band tee, docs and a biker jacket. I guess that has to be my favourite outfit.
Moe: Black skinny jeans. I wear them all the time.

Farah: When, where and how did you first hear about Farah?

Ray: I heard about Farah through a friend.
Moe: My good friend Benji wore Farah; that’s how I got to know it. Benji is one of my better dressed friends.

Farah: What is your favourite piece from your outfit you were shot in? And why?

Ray: I liked the stripy sweater. It can be kinda rock ‘n’ roll with the right outfit.
Moe: The jacket is my favourite. It’s pretty sturdy, it would last you a long time.

Farah: Favourite all time album or band?

Ray: All these 90’s rock bands like Marilyn Manson, Hole, NIN, Placebo, Seigmen and Smashing Pumpkins. But favourite album has to be Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson.
Moe: It has to be the Pixies – Trompe Le Monde.

Farah: What event are you most looking forward to this year?

Ray: I think I will go to this festival in Norway called Slottsfjell Festivalen, as one of my favourite bands, Seigmen, is having a reunion.
Moe: Well no, I’ve got no plans for festivals or gigs at the moment but I am going on holiday to Gibraltar – I’ve always wanted to go there.

Farah: Run us through a perfect night out for you.

Ray: A good night starts with a good pre party with good friends, preferably in Paris with my friends there. Then we head out to a club and the night ends late/early with an after party.
Moe: Just a couple of quiet drinks with some good people. It doesn’t matter where, just as long as you’re with good people and having a laugh. That’s all that matters.

Finding fame in his early years as a street artist in Brooklyn in the late 70s, Basquiat quickly gained notoriety in the New York art scene that saw him rise from graffiti artist to exhibiting Neo-expressionist paintings at the Mary Boone Gallery in Soho and collaborating with long time friend Andy Warhol.
