Last week we hit up Leeds for the grand opening of both the Beacons Metro festival, and the new venue Headrow House.

Ghost Culture

Spread across four floors and featuring restaurants, cocktail bars, beer halls and not one but two roof terraces, Headrow House is an amazing sprawling venue that we are looking forward to spending more time in.

To mark the opening, Farah-favourite East India Youth headlined proceedings showcasing tracks from both last year’s Mercury-nominated ‘Total Strife Forever’ and critically acclaimed followup ‘Culture of Volume’. Ably supported by Phantasy Records’ Ghost Culture, the opening night set the tone perfectly for a brilliant festival, and we can’t wait to head north again next week for Clark and Everything Everything!
