HOPSACK 100 TROUSERS

Unearthed in Japan, this very rare 1960's 'chino' is made from a lightweight hopsack. Durable and hard wearing, the fabric originated in Texas where it was developed to clothe US factory workers after WWII. The Farah Press™ crease to the front gives the trousers its smart, casual aesthetic which was what first brought it to the attention of the Mods and Rudeboys in London in the 1970s and 1980s.
