We are working towards all our garment components - fabrics, threads, trims, buttons and other hardware - being certified by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
This is an independent testing process that verifies all garment components from being free from chemicals that could be potentially harmful to human health.
At Farah, we’re taking a more responsible approach to our denim production. For AW24, all our denim washes, including black, have achieved a low impact score on Jeanologia’s Environmental Impact Measurement (EIM) scale - a benchmark for environmentally responsible finishing. Jeanologia has guided us through the process to ensure we now minimize the environmental footprint of each pair of jeans.
Our commitment goes further with each garment for AW24 crafted from 20% recycled cotton, plus the use of cleaner-finish metal shanks, rivets and zips that are non-electroplated. Additionally, we incorporate recycled polyester in the fusing and sewing thread, making sure every detail aligns with our environmental pledge.
