Sonny Coach Jacket
First coming to prominence in the 50's, this coach jacket is customised with the name of an amateur football team from New Mexico. This unique piece of Farah's history was picked up in Texas, we have yet to locate the team it belonged to. Every detail has been lovingly recreated, and no item better encapsulates the spirit of the Farah brand than this customised piece of history.
HOPSACK 100 TROUSERS
Unearthed in Japan, this very rare 1960's 'chino' is made from a lightweight hopsack. Durable and hard wearing, the fabric originated in Texas where it was developed to clothe US factory workers after WWII. The Farah Press™ crease to the front gives the trousers its smart, casual aesthetic which was what first brought it to the attention of the Mods and Rudeboys in London in the 1970s and 1980s.
HAWK SEERSUCKER SHORTS
Taken directly from a Farah short sourced in Atlanta USA, thought to originate from the early 50's. Fabric, colour and strip are replicated exactly from the original. To compliment the short, Farah has also recreated the stripe in a crew neck t-shirt which mimics the short's pattern exactly.
In true evolutionary spirit, these iconic pieces have been re-designed for the modern day, whilst maintaining historical design elements which gave the clothing its distinctive style all those years ago.SHOP THE ARCHIVE COLLECTION
A piece of American history, this checked canvas shirt is based on a heavy duty work shirt, originally manufactured in Texas and worn by blue collar workers for its durable yet stylish appearance. Remodeled for SS20 with short sleeves, it still retains the open weave check that gives the shirt its rugged appeal.
CASEY TWIN PLEAT CHINO
The Farah labelling date this trousers to the early 1980's. Part of the Farah Casuals line; the double pleat detail adds volume which tapers to the hem. The SS20 version is tapered from the knee and cropped at the ankle and remains the pastel yellow of the original. A signature Farah colour from this era.
This unique and limited edition run of archive pieces brings to light seminal moments in popular culture and Farah's place at the heart of each one of them.
WILCOX TRUCKER JACKET
This jacket was found in a box at the back of an old Texan warehouse where it sat for over 40 years. Never worn the pristine nature of the fabric meant that the colours could be recreated exactly. The silhouette and pattern is just relevant today as it was back then.
